The Rhode Island Apple Group (RIAG) is the Ocean State's premier support organization for users of ALL Apple and Apple OS computers - Apple II, Apple III, Lisa, Macintosh, and all clones using Apple Operating System software are welcome here. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to sharing and disseminating information about the use of these wonderful machines with our friends and neighbors in southeastern New England. Monthly Meeting - meets on the third Tuesday each month. Contact Mark Rafferty for specific times and location.
RIAG Board - meets the first Tuesday each month at Dave Angell's house, about 7:30 p.m., and the membership is invited. Your help will be appreciated! For directions call (401) 941-8934.
RIAG SIGs (Special Interest Groups)
These smaller meetings focus on just one type of computer and often can be the place to get more detailed help or advice on your problem.
- Apple ][ SIG - meets on the third Thursday each month at Michelle Smith's house in East Providence! The Apple II SIG covers all Apple II's for education, business, and home use. For directions call (401) 434-0946.
- The MAC SIG - meets on Wednesday, a week after the monthly meeting. This group alternates back and forth between Mark Rafferty's house in Smithfield (just 4 miles north of Providence - for directions or questions call (401) 232-2023) and Dave Angell's house in Cranston (for those directions call 941-8934)
- Internet SIG - meets on the second Thursday each month. Contact Mark Rafferty for specific times and location.
